Listen up: Amazon Prime Day 2023 is officially dropping on July 11 and July 12, which is just days away. If it’s anything like Prime Day 2022, then we expect to see some great sales on just about everything but the kitchen sink (seriously, the sales inventory is massive). And that also means some great prime day mattress deals. If you just want to get your bargain hunting done early before summer really revs up, fret not. Amazon already has some great sales on top-rated mattresses in a box, memory foam mattresses, and bedding, many of which have been tested by our Gear editors.
Among our favorite early prime day mattress deals: Serta’s 10-inch queen size bed, which our editors love for its cooling memory foam construction that’s great for hot sleepers (especially once summer temps rise). Speaking of memory foam, Nectar’s 12 inch mattress is also on discount, and has received top marks from editors and Amazon customers alike for its pressure-relieving comfort, generous return policy, and lifetime warranty. And lest not we forget, Casper’s Original Hybrid Mattress, a 3-layered bed that’s received rave reviews from countless buyers (one customer said it “changed how he sleeps forever”).
What Is the Best Month to Shop for a Mattress?
Based on our Gear team’s extensive research, we found that the cheapest times to buy mattresses are during Amazon’s Prime Day (in July), and Black Friday (in November). Based on last year’s Prime Day, we found that a lot of our favorite mattresses from brands like Casper and Nectar were at their lowest prices ever, so Prime Day is definitely a great time to shop if you’re looking to buy an affordable mattress.
When Is Prime Day 2023?
Amazon just announced that Prime Day is happening on Tuesday July 11 through Wednesday July 12. It’s a pretty big shopping holiday, with discounts spanning just about every type of product you can think of.
