Seemingly, ASUS will distinguish the ROG Phone 8 from the ROG Phone 8 Pro in three areas. On the one hand, the company will limit the ROG Phone 8 to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. As benchmark leaks suggested, the ROG Phone 8 Pro will come in 16 GB and 24 GB of RAM variants with 512 GB or 1 TB of storage. On the other hand, it appears that the ROG Phone 8 Pro has a superior third rear-facing cameras, likely its 32 MP and 3x optical telephoto sensor.
Also, it looks as if ASUS has given the two models different back panel finishes. Predictably, ASUS has created a few accompanying accessories, such as a new AeroActive Cooler X. Moreover, Windows Report has shown the Devilcase Guardian and a TPU case, the former of which can serve as a pass-through for the AeroActive Cooler X. While pricing has not surfaced for either model yet, ASUS’ recent teasers imply that the ROG Phone 8 series willl debut next month during CES 2024.
