Released in the final quarter of 2021, the Google Pixel 6 Android smartphone will get version and feature updates at least until the end of 2024, while security patches will be provided until late 2026. Now, the 34% discount available for the 128 GB black version makes it a very tempting deal at just US$397.53.
The Google Pixel 6 visited our labs for an in-depth review at the end of November 2021, proving to be a strong flagship that features a unique design, a competent camera setup, a powerful processor exclusively available for Google devices, half a decade of security patches, and everything for a reasonable price. Now, a generous 34% discount brings the Stormy Black 128 GB Google Pixel 6 from US$599 to US$397.53.
The discounted smartphone mentioned above comes unlocked for all US carriers and runs Android 12 out of the box. Its highlights include the Google Tensor processor alongside a Titan M2 security chip, a 6.4-inch display, a 50 MP rear camera that “captures 150% more light for photos with richer colors and more detail,” as well as a rich set of software tools and features such as Magic Eraser, Motion Mode, Portrait Mode, Live Translate, and more.
Our review mentioned earlier concluded that this handset “is a powerful smartphone that combines many positive features at an attractive price” and highlighted its bright and accurate 90 Hz display, wireless and reverse wireless charging support, IP68-rated build, and long software support period. However, we also discovered that the Pixel 6 does not support video output via USB and that battery life could have been better (and this will probably happen thanks to software optimizations that will arrive in the future).
Unfortunately, the phone only comes with a USB cable, so those who will not use an older charger will need to buy a new one. If black is not to your liking, you could also grab the Sorta Seafoam 128 GB Google Pixel 6, which is currently 27% down and can be acquired for US$439.50. The Kinda Coral version has no discount and has a US$579 price tag.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I’ve been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
